Thumbs up Remus exhaust for CB7 Accord???

Hello, greetings from the United States. I am in San Diego, California and have a 1992 Honda Accord (CB7) It's the equivalent model to the 2.2i in Europe, but with 140ps.

I am interested in buying a Remus muffler for my car with the 2x 98x72mm square tips. These are VERY expensive in the U.S. The suggested price is $440 U.S.D. I've found a shop that sells it for $360 plus $30 shipping. What do these exhausts cost in Europe?

I look forward to hearing your responses.

$440 is very expensive for just a muffler IMO. Prices for Remus mufflers start at around $200-220 depending on what car you´re driving. I´d just buy a good catback system from the US in your case because it won´t be worth the $!

Remus and sebring exhausts are expensive in europe also. It'll cost about €360 at least for my european accord ('96), so it should be the same price for your accord also I think.
I would buy an american exhaust if I were you (I like them more than the european style exhausts). I think Sebring (german brand) sells their products also in the usa, I personally like Sebring more then remus.

I´ve tried both Sebring and Remus and their design, sound and quality was the same! But I´d still buy a catback system....

I know it doesn´t belong in here but I don´t want to start a new thread for it. Just want to say that I´m going to switzerland to ski tonight! `See´ you all in a week! Bye everybody.

Sebring is owned by Remus so they are pretty much the same. I think Remus and Sebring mufflers are a bit underrated in Europe because they are the "standard" sports muffler for every car in Europe. I think they make nice exhausts with a nice subtle low sound. Nothing more, nothing less.
oh, and Remus and Sebring are both Austrian not German. (I used to think that too )

They ARE a bit expensive, I paid 250€ for a muffler for my old Civic. For an Accord they will be more expensive so the 360$ isn't that bad I guess.

And sure a catback is better but with a muffler and some cat-piping you'll have the same

Veetec, have a nice holiday!

Austrian? They seem to make a lot of tuning stuff there in the Alpes. Switserland has a lot of tuner 2 imo (they even have a mugen-dealer!)
Remus and sebring are the same 'company'... the mufflers look at each other 2, it's only that sebring is less seen over here then remus, that's why i like sebring more.

@veetec, nice holiday 2... though you are on vacation already

Thanx a lot! Sking was a lot of fun. The weather was great (only sunshine), snow was great, skiruns were empty and sking itself was great. Got a telephone number from a nice girl on my way home with the train but she´s living too far away from me and after she left the train I´ve found out that she is just 15 years old! ....but I could use a poultry dissector.......
