whty do people always compare the late cobras(supercharged) 2 all motor cars like comaro ss and corvettes. and say there so much better. hell the turbo sti wrx is more comparable 2 the mustang cobra imo.

mazda when it was stock 11.7 now 11.4 nothing much done fast intake, 80mm throttle body, costom hinson exhaust and pullys.

the old cobras with the supercharger was the best ford could ever do to try an gain an edge, and i do mean try. me and my friends argue about this all the time i myself dont seem to care the damn thing is s/c ive seen them get beat down with that gerbal blowing into the engine, they cant compair that car to the z the ss or the vett, from what i understand people seem to think it was the answer for the vett but i dunno, compairing a 26k car and a 50k car aint fair at all. even with me being an old ford mustang owner i still think it was a attempt to catch up

hey i got a buddy that wants to put an LS1 into his second gen, think he said 91. is that your car in your avatar, if it is why didnt you take out the intercooler, or did you force induce the LS1?

i think that kit and light conversion cost 2500-3k and then add paint,i have a vett payment so im kinda on hold with the rx-ls1.

now now thats not true.. stock for stock it can hang if not beat alot of vettes out there.... trust me i know from experience

you mean late model by 03s and 04s?? they compare them because they are rivals... camaro and mustang are always battleing it out... so i guess to make up for the displacment difference ford decided to supercharge it... if i worked for ford i would make the 5.8 or atleast the 5.4 an option in the stangs.
