I dont know a thing.. I wanna learn

I dont know a thing about cars but im fascinated with them and racing, I'm 15 and I'll be driving later this year and I want to learn some stuff. I don't know what a cam is or a header, I need to start out with very basic stuff. Is their stuff I can pick up at the libary? My school doesnt offer anything automotive until 11th grade.

Read, Read, Read….

That should be more than enough to get you started. You could probably just print a lot of this stuff out at your school then you don’t have to worry about returning it, or highlighting it, etc.

EDIT::

Re: I dont know a thing.. I wanna learn

I hear a squeal or a groan from across the parking lot and make a comment on what part needs to be replaced... then my friends make fun of me cause I can diagnose a car from 110 yards

I would highly reccomend doing searches around here on AF. I can just spend countless hours every week absorbing all the knowledge around here. There's so many people that know lots, and you can read stuff on here and learn something ever day.
