Sounds like you do not have something like the 2nd starter wire, ignition, or accesory wire.

thanks for the reply's ....your right i dont....but the manual said to just put the second ignithion wire with the first one....the manual called it a "cold start" wire. everything works good just doesnt fire over and actually crank. what do u suggest i do with that wire?

thanks again.

Nothing. Some RS systems have 2 ignition wires and one accessory. But your car needs 2 starter wires. I bet you only hooked up one wire. You'll need to hook that up.

Re: remote starting

it may be that you need to increase the time the remote starter brain sends power to the starter to get the car to start. your car starts with the key right?

Re: remote starting

um ok theres one more thing i can think of. I have a remote start on a 2000 altima and each key has a chip in it as a safty feature. The guys who installed my alarm told me i would need a duplicate chip to be fitted into a seprate module that doesnt come with the alarm. I dont know if the 95's have chips in their keys...

You may just have a bad remote start alarm. It happens but check your grounds.

Nope, it doesn't have that. A quick test would be to leave the key in the cyl. and then remote start it. If it starts fine, you go it.

Try this, turn the key on but do not start it. Try to use the remote starter. If it starts fine, then you got something messed up with either one of the starter wires or the ignition wire. You did isolate the accessory wire during the start right? This isn't always necessary depending on the type of remote starter but I bet you need to do it.
