I Cant Tell What Gear I am In!

Are there any lights on your guys' shift section of the car. Where the shift knob and all that is located? I can not tell if im in drive or neautral at night, could this possibly be a fuse gone? I am tired of counting the snaps down from PARK.

hell, put me in my car, put it in any gear, and by the rpms/speed I can tell which gear I'm in.

well seeing as how drive is always in the same place on autos ( 2 clicks down) there shouldn't be much of a problem...
