Looking for parts for 94 cavalier

Ok i heard if u put a fart bomb on a cavalier it decreases horsepower and a cool air intake doesnt affect it
is this true?

if not can i get a link from sumone where to find a cool air intake that will work with a 94 cvalier 2.2L 4 cyl

Whoever told you that was a little bit divvy! Anyway you can let an engine take air in easier and out better then you'll get an increase in power. Unless the motor is screwed to begine with and the rings aren't doing much. Saying an intake does affect is dumb. They are smooth inside unlike the stock airbox and they are less restrictive so air flows easier. Result more power! The fart can has less obstuction and is whay it sounds the way it does. It basically lets the sound reverberate in it and has better flow. But gains will be very low without the rest of the system changed! cold air intake will run you quite a few $$.
