And so it begins.......
First parts got here today.
Should have the clutch sometime next week. Spec Stage 5. Shortblock will be here as soon as I get my federal return. Yes, that is a muffler. ![]() I wish I could run this legally. Difference in sound from the cat-back to having no cat-back. Just headers, cats, and a short y-pipe. Dumps right under the center console. http://home.comcast.net/~mrluos/clip.wmv Hoping to have more before and after clips soon. Just wasn't able to get them without the catback on, soon though.

I love that sound... I miss it.. that "it sounds like it's missing and going to fall on its face idle"
mmm

Re: And so it begins.......
It actually sounds good without the cat-back. I can't wait to actually take it outta the garage, and run around the block. Gonna try to wake up the entire neighborhood.

It sounds great man! Sucks that you have to put mufflers on that, lol.

Just hearing it idle in the garage convinced me that I NEED cutouts. One at each header. Can't wait to here the 402ci with open headers!

Re: And so it begins.......
Damn, I looked up the product, way cheeper than VR4 cat backs, damn the small aftermarket we have. So Its basically straight pipes? Damn loud on a non turbo car lol. Nice purchase!

Re: And so it begins.......
I have a pretty good hook-up as well. I got it for $389.99 shipped.
Check out Byunspeed.com. Owner of the site is a friend of mine. Prices all include shipping. Although, he is mostly for domestics.

I wish I could get a borla for the VR4 for that much, they're about $600
.Edit: Checked out that site, didn;t have anything vehicle specific for the 3000GT , he must just be getting started with it

Sounds good man. I wish the before and after were both done outside, then we could really hear the difference it made. Shit always sounds meaner when it's closed in. Everytime I run open headers on the street I ALWAYS bring it to a carwash and just listen to it idle in the enclosed space.
That's seriously one sick(in a good way =]) sounding WS6 though. Rob

That exhaust sounds great... at idle I'm really dissapointed they didn't rev it up
Oh, and if you want to talk about small aftermarket look for parts for a sr20de sentra yikes.
