fuel leak around vacuum canister
I have a 1995.5 Isuzu Rodeo I bought Sept 2004. Recently , about a couple of weeks ago, I was driving home from work when suddenly the
car was losing power and hesitating, this was on the highway. I could also smell gasoline. I stopped the car, popped the hood, and noticed that the vacuum canister was spouting gasoline. The canister was filled with gas. Had my car towed, did not want to damage or cause a fire. Had the vacuum canister replaced, now it has happened again. I recently had the fuel pump replaced. This has happened in the last couple of weeks, without any previous warning. I also notice that this happened when I have less than half a tank of gas. has anyone experience this problem? I love this car, hasn't given me any serious problem that I could not handle. this one is beyond me. Help!! Thank you for your time. Arnel |
