Squeeky steering

I have a 2002 cavalier coupe and when I turn the steering wheel to the right or left it squeeks. I can't tell if it inside or outside. I looked for places to lube the linkage but could not find any. Has anybody else had this sort of problem? Any help would be appreciated.

it could be the contacts for the horn on the back of the steering wheel. They use a special electrical conducting grease that wears away over time! If you do try to do this yourself. Disconnect the battery and be extremly careful of the airbag!
