spark plugs

1992 grand am 2.3l how do i change the spark plugs no wires what do i do im lost?

Remove the cover over the center of the engine. There should be 4 bolts. The plug wires are attached to the cover along with the coil. Remove it and the plugs are between the cams in the center of the engine.

Ah yes... the beloved Integrated Direct Ignition... gotta love it.

Even though GTPdad told you everything you need to know, I thought I'd throw in - as long as you have the IDI off, it might not be a bad idea to check the coil packs. Some quad 4 models are notorious for leaking coil pack housings, and they can get water in there and cause trouble. Just look at all 4 clear coil pack cases and make sure there's no sign of leakage or condensation.
