I Have A 1992 Honda Prelude 2.0 Automatic. 2nd Edition With Non Pop Up Lights. My Handbrake Light On The Dash Board Keeps Coming On When I Acelerate Hard From Either Being Stationary Or Driving Up Steep Roads. Unfortunately I Know V Little About Cars But I'm Pretty Sure Its Not The Handbrake. The Handbrake Works Absolutely Fine And I Cant See Any Evidence Of The Rear Brakes Sticking - Pad Wear Is Fine.
If Anybody Can Shed Any Light It Would Be Much Appreciated. |

Re: Brake Light Problem
Check the brake fluid if it is low it will also give you a light.Carl

Agreed. When you accelerate the fluid leans back and trips the sensor. Low brake fluid is my guess |

My friend had the same problem with his 91 Legend. I'll ask him to see what it was and how he fixed it.
