96 s10 balzer 4x4 headLights go on and off

My 96 s10 blazer 220000 miles 4x4s head lamps go on and off after about 20 minutes after turning them on of the night. People think I want them to pull over because they are blinking. The relay in the dash sound like it has a motor in it I guess where the circuit is trying to open and close. Someone told me the ground may be loose at the lamp. The drivers side lamp stays on but is dim when I take the relay out.

Do you have subwoofers in your car?
If you do that can cause your headlights to flicker on and off.

Re: 96 s10 balzer 4x4 headLights go on and off

I have a 1997 Blazer with the same issue. First it started when I would run my highbeams, now its when I put my blinker on. I now have my dashboard completely off, I replaced the relay, and the blinker switch in the steering column and still no luck. Just wondering if you figured out a solution to this?

Thanks
