Need help on selecting the right drop kit..for a 240sx

I need some major help on selecting the proper drop kit...I went on ebay and found some reallllly cheap kits..For example, some coilovers were $35 and shipping was $30....i would like to know if someone bought any pro exhaust coilovers or other cheap coilovers..I am looking for something pretty cheap...but not that cheap...lol...

Stay away from a lot of that e-bay stuff. Almost all of the "real drift stuff" is cheap and stupid. Go with a more well known brand. Monooxide named some good brands, but I don't know how expensive they are...

tein coilover setups start from $1k. You can get a good HE for about 1200. But of course, Tein's are overrated because of the name. Don't get crucial performance parts from Ebay. unless you're paying a decent amount... it's not worth it. Especially suspension... it's very important you have a good set. You don't want it busting on you while your going 80 on the freeway. If you're looking for a shift knob or something.. go ahead get it on Ebay.

bottom line.. Don't get it. i quote from the past 200 threads... "you get what you paid for..."

Your talking about Sleeve Overs. They Suck. Buying parts just because they're cheap gets you not-so-exclusive access to the ricer section on the saturday night meets.

For Springs buy Tein / RSR / Swift / KG-MM

Tokico is Wack
JIC is Wacker
Teins are Overpriced as shit.

Re: Need help on selecting the right drop kit..for a 240sx

As recommended from a few other peeps on the NissanForms.com. I am going with the KYB APX Shocks and Struts ($350) and the Ground Control Springs(Coil overs or sleaves 0-2" Drop Adjustable)($379.00) Not a bad setup and still cheaper then a full coil over setup. Here is a list I was given of good coil overs.

JIC
TEIN
NISMO
Motivational Suspension
B&G
HKS
Buddy Club
Truechoice
KW suspension

Don't get the e-bay sleeve overs or anything off of e-bay for that matter, one of my friends bought those sleeve over kits off of e-bay and besides getting my neverending laughter he got something to support crap in his garage.
