Transmission Shift Kit

Does anyone know if they make a Transmission Shift kit for the 02 honda accord? If they do, where can i get one? If you dont know what im talking about, it a kit that helps your transmission change gears harder and faster to get a better pull. But once this is done to your car you cant tow anything.

Re: Transmission Shift Kit

shift kits are used in automatic tranny's, and last I knew, they were only made for old muscle car's. Shift kits from my experience also do more harm than good and ruin your trans. in half the time it would usually take. The aftermarket doesnt offer much for automatic import's if at all. The demand just isnt there. And if you have a manual stick shift, the only thing you could do is, tear the tranny apart and depending on whats offered and your racing needs, have a "PRO. TRANSMISSION BUILDER" replace all the internal gearing to your specification's. And this is not cheap. Oh, and why in the world would you be worried about towing capabilities with a honda?

He's right and wrong at the same time. They do make kits for the honda, i don't remember the site though..As for the other guy, they don't make it shift harder....They're basically rebuild kits to allow the tranny shift a little quicker and they do decrease the life of the tranny (if you drive like you're planning to.).
