Got my alternator rebuilt and installed yesterday Woot. So now i've decided to keep my camaro and not sell. So what should i do to it performance wise. Super charger or turbo, Heads, headers what. its all stock except K&N air filter. I'm ordering a flow master 80 series muffler.
Or should i up the suspension? Its going to be a on going project and just working around and on it. I CAN NOT REPEAT CANNOT LOWER IT i have to have repainted this summer cause some of the roads around here have scrapped the bottom of the front all to hell so no lowering. So let the suggsetions begin. O real quick there is no emmions where i live so don't worry bout that.

Hm, where to start... well that flowmaster will do much more for sound thean performance, but you won't get much performance from jsut a muffler no matter waht brand. Sound like you have a big budget so... start off with a cold air intake, headers, high flow cat(s) or go straight pipe/catless if you want since you have no emissions. 3" catback exhaust, I prefer Magnaflow but some people say that they don't make them for 3rd gens. Lots of people like Hooker catbacks on 3rd gens, idunno. Then I'd do a gear swap, higher ratio, 3.42 or 3.73. Upgrade to a posi at the same time if you don't already have one.

Next prolly suspension - subframe connectors, panhard rods, torque arm, LCA's, maybe a strut tower brace. I would do poly bushings on all of those but others might say stick with rubber or go to rod ends. Springs and shocks depend on what driving you do - street, autocross, strip.

That's a good start and if you realy want I'm sure someone else can continue.

Already has posi trac and budget wise like i said it will be a ongoing project work save up spend *repeat* i know the flowmaster wont give much hp i just threw it upthere cause have u herd the 80 series DAMN good there website has some audio butnothing compard to real life

Ne good or should i got with super comp BIG price differnce though. O i'm hoping crossing fingers at getting a job at advance reason i'm looking at there website it get some kind of dicount not sure what probably bout like wal*mart one 10%
Thinking i will do custome exhaust all the way back the muffler what should i get or just run a 3in pipe all the way back myself?

kk thats all the stuff for tonite i'd say i'd got those things in that order. Ne other suggestions more than welcome. one quick edit if i wanted to do a 5 speed swap what do i need? The car was orginally my moms thus it is auto. Thanks.

No matter what else you do depending on the $$ situation, if you can find an aftermarket performance intake manifold for your car, get it. That will do more that you can "feel" for the least amount of $$. Make sure when you get headers don't get too big. 1 5/8-1 3/4 is right. Don't go bigger. 36 inch primaries into 3 inch collectors. And if you get into exhaust make sure you get a cross over pipe connecting the 2 sides put in for balance. Go 2 1/2-3 inch diameter. Intake, headers, exhaust in whatever order your wallet dictates is a great start.

Like 97camaroRS said there's lots more you can do but intake, headers, exhaust will make a noticeable difference and will not force any other changes= more $$ to compensate.

Stay away from nitrous, blowers and turbos. Complexity, cost and strain on engine will take its toll.
