Question Radio does not turn off. Relation with electrical locks ?

Owning a Chevrolet Trans Sport (Pontiac, Chev Venture) 2003 3.6.

1st my radio did not turn on, dealer had to reset something, he related this to the doorlocks;
2nd time (currently) my radio did not turn off: removed keys, doors locked, but radio is still on (at that time the radio was muted). tried this with open/closed doors without results.

Is there any relationship between the radio (power) system and the electronics of the door locks ?
How to reset this ?

Re: Radio does not turn off. Relation with electrical locks ?

I do not know how to reset this problem but there is a relation to the doors some how. In many of the models when you stop and turn off the engine the radio will continue to play untill tou open the driver door. I don't know if this applies to your van. I'm going to look in my chilton manual to see if there is anything in there if there is I'll post another reply.

Indeed, the expected behavior is that the radio turns off when one of the doors opens.
Dealer did a reset of the radio by disconnecting the power this time. Not very satisfactory, but I'm OK for now.
Am interested in additional posts though.
