Best springs for Tokico Blues?

Not looking to lower the car at all,at most an inch. I'm looking for something that will stiffen the ride up and still go well with the Tokico Blues.

Don't say buy coilovers.

i heard teins don't drop the car too much... jus look for racing springs instead of drop springs.

Re: Best springs for Tokico Blues?

i take it you're looking for handling.. if you want real handling, you need more than just suspension.. and you'll NEED to lower it for serious handling.. you have to understand why lowering it helps.. think about how stable you are standing completely straight compared to when you've got your knees bent.. your centre of gravity is lower.. same idea with a car

Re: Best springs for Tokico Blues?

i got a question about that also, my cousin says that lowering a car also shortens the braking distance, i dont see how that can help on braking. What do you guys think?

Re: Best springs for Tokico Blues?

FOr the braking question, when you brake with a stock suspension, the car dives forward, that's alot of exess energy, when you have a stiffer suspension setup, the car doesn't dive as much which makes the car weigh less on hard braking, which equals to better braking distances.

Re: Best springs for Tokico Blues?

but the stiffer suspension will only help braking until the limit of tire grip is reached after that it wont make any difference

and i have sprint springs w/tokicos on my 89 hatch and they work well not too low of a drop but it looks nice
