Red face antoher tire question

I was wondering if I can fit 33X12.5R15 on my 1993 k1500 with a 3" body lift without any trimming. If not can I do it with add-a-leafs and cranked torsion bars?

Re: antoher tire question

I had originally put 35's on my truck with a 6" suspension lift and had to, trim the plastic valance under the bumper, trim the bumper corners and trim inside corner of the fenders, It would probably rub whe you turn. I have 37's now but added a 3" body lift. No probab at all now. Except when the wheels get stuffed when you turn.

I've got an offroad book with a table of what tires will fit what. According to it, you can fit 31x10.5 stock, 33x12.5 with a 4" suspension lift. I think it probably has to be suspension to get the frame out of the way. Not too sure on the newer ones, but my 86 comes pretty close to the frame.

Re: antoher tire question

It all depends on what size rims you want. 15x8's fit with no trimming. 15x10 rims require trimming of the plastic valence and cranking of the torsion bars. I know cause i had a 92 w/ a 3" and had both size wheels.

I have a 93 k1500 longbed and have 33x12.50 15' s under it with a 3" body lift. i did'nt have to do any trimming. just crank up the torsion bars a little and no rubbing. however my buddy has a shortbed and with a 3" body lift with a minimal amount of trimming and raising the torsion bars a little he was able to run 35x12.50 15's may wanna put the lift on and if u have a buddy that will let you swap real quick see how much u have to trim.
