oil pressure guage
I just bought me a 94 jeep grand cherokee ltd ...the oil pressure guage does not work..it does not move at all. What can it be??..

could be your pressure sending unit/switch. Mine is located above my oil filter. I was getting bad reading and I replaced the switch and solved the problem

I have had this before (I sell Jeeps). It is either your sender OR it is your cluster (the entire information backdrop). If it is your sender it's like $50 for a new one, if it is your cluster, you have to get it from Jeep and its about $200. Hope this helps. Good luck. If it is not moving at all, it sounds like the cluster. If it were moving erratically back and forth, usually the sender.

Oil Pressure Switch (my 94 5.2L) was $23 (autozone). it is most likely either the switch or or the wirign from the switch is bad.
