97 altima keyless entry problem

Hi,
I have a nissan 1997 altima GXE and I am not sure whether my car has a keyless entry system or not.The dealer told me that it has the keyless entry system but when I try to program it, it doesn't respond.I closed all the doors and inserted the key in/out 6 times but the hazard lights didn't flash.I have tried all the combinations,but still the lights doesn't flash.Can anyone tell me if there is any fuse which might have blown out.Also,if possible plz tell me the location of the keyless entry module in the car,so that I can check whether my car has that system installed or not.Plz sugest me all the possible way to check this out and work it out.
