93 4x4 4.3 W running problem

I just replaced my upper manifold gasket on the because of a leak. Why I had the manifold off I changed the gasket on the egr valve. I also changed the coolent thermastate and gasket. I checked the vacume hose by the distrib., the other one by under the tps, the pcv and the brake booster all are on. The problem I had was check engine light code 35. I found the leak at manifold and fixed. Now I have differnt problem no codes now runs perfect until operating temp and when driving won't shift. Drives great until normal temp.

I noticed that it doesn't have a kick down cable does that help

You must have a computer controlled transmission.

You have conflicting points in your first post.

Does it shift or not properly when up to temperature?
