TB whining noises from front end

I just took my TB into the dealership because of a whistle that came from the front end. It ONLY happens while driving and stops when I get to about 10 MPH. The whistle starts as early as 25 MPH and doesn't stop until i go below 10. The dealership says they have NO CLUE what is wrong with it, and are stumped. I have friends that work at that dealership, so I know they're not just jerking me around. Anyone ever had this problem before? Vacuum leak? Belt? HELP PLEASE!!!

The whining noises I have had with my TB happened at ALL speeds. The problem turned out to be just my silly wife

How about the brakes? When you here a whining noise coming from them, it means that the wear sensor is hitting the rotor & the brakes need to be replaced soon.

Ha, turns out it was a front axle seal gone bad that was causing the whistle. They've been a problem on all TB's, Envoys, Bravad's and Rainer's

Had the same thing on my 02 LTZ with only 16k. Sounded like a wind noise.

I just purchased a 02 TB LT, last weekend. The dealer let me take it home before purchasing it. The whistle noise started halfway home on me. I told them about it before I bought it, and I'll be taking it in to the shop next weekend. I'm going to have them listen to it first, then I'm going to show them a print of this page.

Mine happens the same time yours did. After the TB warms up, and from 10 m/h on. This is very nice knowing what's wrong before taking it into the shop.

I've just had the power steering pump replaced for the same reason. Future looks bright right now...
