oil gauge

i have a 85 2.8L V6 and i was wondering why my oil gauge doesn't work
can anyone help me out with this?

Check the oil pressure switch on the back side of the intake. That sends a signal to your guage to let you know the oil psi. That could be your problem. They can go after a while. It did on my '91. Hope this helps

Check the oil pressure sender. The connection could be off or the sender has to be replaced.

It's on the back of the intake manifold. It's actually screwed into the engine block. But it sits next to the distributor.
