Here's my lazy answer (these numbers aren't exact.)

About 100 McLarens ever made.

64 road examples
5 LM examples
2 GT road examples
around 23 race examples
5 prototype examples

Of course the number made doesn't include the number which currently exist. I think at least 5 cars have been destroyed by some means (race fire, accident, crash testing, etc.)

Roadgoing F1s had a base price of somewhere around 850,000 USD, but most were bought for around 1 million dollars (because of options and customizations), and most are changing owners for at least 1.2 million.

Not too sure on that - it could have been used to rebuild one of the many F1s that has been crashed - possibly even a GTR - or it could still be in their posession. Your guess is as good as mine.

The location of XP2 is unknown at this time. I would have thought it would be crushed following the crash test, but apparently it was not. McLaren supposedly held onto it in case further crash testing was needed for other markets like the USA. It may be tucked away in McLaren storage somewhere, but I have never seen photos of it following the crash test shots seen in Driving Ambition.

Actually there have been at least 3 completely destroyed, possibly more.

XP1, Dawes, & Pischetsrieder would be the 3 confirmed total losses. There have been others wrecked, some quite severly, but to my knowledge all the rest have been repaired so far.

Well from all the accounts of the story that I have heard, he rolled the car at very high speed and it was "written off". Normally that means totalled.

The other two cars were not only wrecked, but also caught fire rendering them unrepairable, but I guess it is possible that the one he crashed was repaired.

One story claimed his mother-in-law was in the car at the time of the crash. That probably didn't go over too well.

Re: How many F1's are their?

Theres that pic of one i presume cant be repared in driving ambition. Writen of dosen nesacerily mean i cant be repuilt knowing the sensatilist nature of the press im shore ive herd or Rowin Atkinsons car being writen of prehaps xp2 is still at the crash test center. One thing i was woundering is that the rear top flanks behind and around the engine cover seem to be part of the monocock (sc wont help me with that one) so if a lorry runs into the back of you is that the end of you Mclaren arount the frount its all body panels but if its on its roof and crushes the air intake what then? can the monocock be reparied somehow?

Re: How many F1's are their?

The spare chassis is just a tub--no wiring, no paint, no interior fitments, no wheels or suspension assembly, no motor, etc., etc. I realize it's more than a steering wheel or pedal or rubber grommet, but it's still just a spare part and nowhere near a complete car.

It's a chassis so it has a chassis number assigned to it, which is how the cars are identified. But should it really be counted in the number of cars built? I think it would be more accurate to say 106 cars have been built. Using chassis numbers doesn't give the whole picture.
