tranny
ok i need to know a couple things. One is what is the tranny code for the Vr4. and is there any place where i can buy aftermarket rebuilds or parts for the tranny

The code is W5MG1 for the 5-speed (91-93), and W6MG1 for the 6-speed (94-99).
Here's a costly link for a master rebuild kit w/ synchro's, I personally think you'd be better off buying used: http://www.drivetrain.com/mitsubishikm4_5spFWD.html Just do a search of the tranny code on yahoo or google to find more rebuild kits or parts, shouldn't be too hard to find.
