Just ordered my AEM intake....

:flash: Finally, my intake should be here Thursday or Friday. Has anyone put one in their cars yet, or the Injen intake. Those summabitches sold out pretty damn quick at www.optauto.com I wanted a red one bad, but they sold out of that color. So I got a silver one instead, I sure as hell wasn't gonna get a blue one. Just want to know if anyone got thiers yet in there car and what the sound, sounds like. Peace:alien:

Hey guys, I was talking to a buddy of mine who is a lawyer. You need to contact the company your warranty is through and get it in writing that any mods won't void your warranties. The dealer can be wrong! Just lookin out for everyone. I know I don't have enough money to fix anything major if it were to break!!!

If anything did break, and you went for a warranty repair, all the dealer would have to say "Well, I guess I was wrong".

I am interested in the intake myself, but I can wait a few years.

Let me know what you guys find out!

How much....

Hey Stylin how much did your friend pay for the Stromung Cat-back? Honestly I'm gonna probably wait until all the big Dawgs finish their Cat-backs and the other boltons. I was talking to a Mechanic at Jotech and he told me that APEXI has started to work on their headers and exhaust. This car is gonna blow up, everyone and their mother is gonna be making something for them, especially when Nismo gets here, holy shit it's gonna be on.:alien: peace

Well no place is gonna give you a note saying that you can throw a performance part on you car,,,cause that usually means that your driving the car harder, than what it's made for.....

But it all basically boils down to the dealer have to completely 100% prove that the mod caused the fault, for example if you took your car in for an oil change and they forgot to tighten the drain plug and you drive your car around for a day or two and finally you blew the rod right threw the engine,,,they can't say well your Cold Air Intake is what caused that to happen....Ya know what I mean?

Here read this:http://www.sema.org/content/?ID=22237&criteria=warranty

If anyone is unaware of SEMA they should actually read threw thier site,,cause it's very informative and they'll help you out alot...For instance there is a bill to try to stop the sales of aftermarket performancre mufflers in Massachusets, and SEMA is stepping in to try to stop the action from happening.....They do this kinda stuff all the time...They are actually out there to help the average person out from things like this...So browse the site and subscribe to the newsletters and what not and believe me you'll love it,cause i know I do..It's shown me alot of usefull information....

Ok sorry for the long post but I hope I helped out...

What's up fellas....

Hey Stylin thanks for the information site. Since I have nothing to do at work but mess around on the internet, I will check it out. $500 bucks doesn't sound that bad. Better than what my roomate with the WRX has to pay for his, about $900. Hey Mikee, patience is a virtue, yeah right I am the worst person with patience. But it will be worth it once everything gets there. Hey how much were the Sprint springs, and what is the drop gonna be, I hope something better than just a mear 1''or 1.5'' drop. Also how much did you get your Injen intake for. My AEM was $229 from that optauto.com Who else is carrying Lowering Springs. I heard that Intrax and I think Eibach is. But if you know anyone of else please let me know. Oh yeah what's wrong with your tranny?:alien:

What's up....

Did you have to call Sprint themselves to find out about the springs because I couldn't find them on their site. Also how much was your intake? 2 inch drop is what I'm talking about.:alien:
