Depending on the price, always go with AC Delco Platinums in that year of truck.

Heck, I think they have AC Delco Platinum rapidfires now.

Platinum: 41-932 Gap 0.054

http://search-desc.ebay.com/41-932_W...trypageZsearch

Rapidfire: #12 - Gap: 0.060

Only plugs you should use in your 4.3L.

Re: spark plugs

Thanks Guys. I do have a 99 SLT. I have noticed before that putting Bosch or any other but AC delco doesn't work as well.

Re: spark plugs

Nope, the Ac Delco are made for the truck and perfect very very well.

Plus they are usually cheaper in some cases.

Re: spark plugs

The Spec sticker on my 99 jimmy inside the hood says to gap the plugs at .060. I assume the 41-932 is OEM.

i'm pretty sure all platinum plugs are pre-gaped, and i think i read somewhere to never re-gap them. good luck, i put in bosch plastinum +2's on a 2001 4.3 jimmy and a month later after paying too much, i found this forum and find out what i suspected all along, they suck!!!
