CTK: New exhaust "DeVito"

So I finally got it my new lightweight SS custom made exhaust...
the whole thing weights about 10kg, has mandrell band curves and made from finnest polished SS 0.8mm, fi 60mm inside...The guy who did this for me is very well known craftsman he's working with Akrapovic' (the firm that is world wide known for best motorycycle exhausts, he's also slowenian )
he could of done me a titanium one but I can't afford that kind of money, and the guy become my new sponsor...

He did exhaust the way I wanted...for street I'll have the muffler on but at the drag races I'll just put a pipe on(and the muffler off) and I'm ready to go...

Here are some photos of it

Outside

Here you can see those litlle springs that are connecting the pipe and muffler (motorcycle has the same way, no heavy "spacers")

Street use with muffler on

At Drag race (just pipe)

So when exhaust comes out on the left side of the car I'm cruisn' but when it comes out atthe right side then I'm prolly doin' something suspicius

Re: CTK: New exhaust "DeVito"

When you're driving under 3k rpm it's like ordinary exhaust maybe little louder, but when you step on the gas pedal then it has this sporty sound like rally cars and when vtec kicks it has wonderfull sound...but it's all in a limit of nice exhaust sound (no grrr a brrr sounds, and those deep sounds where all the windows are shaking ;0) ), when we'll have another drag (legal or illegal) I'll try to do some video shots so you'll hear how it sounds !

Re: CTK: New exhaust "DeVito"

Very cool setup, mine is very similar to that stock looking setup you have.

BTW - No muffler + DOHC VTEC = AWESOME sound when the VTEC kicks. I loved it when my exhaust fell off.

Re: CTK: New exhaust "DeVito"

Yop this exhaust can be bought for about 820$
it's not cheap, but it is top quality, he can made exact the sam exhaust from TITAN but then the price is a lot higher...You must know that this is all mandrell band of the polished SS that is only 0.8mm thick + weld technik is amazing you almost can't see the weld from inside or outside !!!!
Like I said this whole exhaust weights about 10kg (kilos)

I thought that you'd like to see exhaust from the same craftsman but this time for 6th gen civic sedan 160HP with Titanium muffler

And at home on CD I've got pictures of the whole exhaust for RX7 the same man!

Polished pipe for drag

Little job done on bumper
