'98 Cavalier DRL Problems

My daughter's '98 cavalier is having problems with the day time running lights and low beam headlights. First, the right front low beam would not work but the lamp was ok. Ran jumper wire to left low beam light (dark blue wire) and everything worked fine for a month. Now, Day Time Running lights and low beams do not work at all. High beams are ok. DRL relay is ok. How do I troubleshoot the ouput of the DRL control module and where is it located?

My daughters 99 has the exact same problem..her DRL relay is in the fuse box..I replaced it and it did not help..I also jumped out the Headlight switch still no low beams or daytime lights...short in the wiring somewhere I guess...

I fixed my daughters..yours prob same..It is a broken wire in the front harness under the battery pan..you will have fun getting the connector 101 unplugged and the ground wire bolt out!! pretty tight fit. Good luck

I had the same problem and I had a bulb that needed to be replaced. The bulb looked fine but I replaced it and that was the problem. You should also look for any loose or coroded wires and check the fuses
