Cool changing drivebelt arrangement
drivebelt arrangement to be changed if possible? I have a 92 Ford Taurus with a bad compressor and I want to continue to drive it without the drivebelt attached to the compressor. Is there a way to reroute a shorter belt and still have all the other components working properly????

It would be a lot easier for you to get your pulley on the compressor to spin than try to find the right length belt to bypass.
