Funny/Sad story, Read It!

I have to post this because its too funny yet sad to keep all to myself. Ok so I rented a trailor and drove around an hour to go pick up a 90 gsx i just bought. It runs on 3 cylinders so i didnt want to drive it at all. The guy before me just left the car for me to pick up so it was just three of us doing all the work. The car has eibach sportlines on it, so you all know that its like 2 inches off the ground..........And it has a starion fmic. Yea............. Well anyway the car was on a hill so we were like lets just roll it on up. The car entered the ramp ok, but then i pretty much threw up in my mouth when i heard a huge scrape and my fmic almost fell out of the bottom of the car. So now the bumber is trashed and i dented all of the bottom fins on my fmic because of the damn trailor. Well we decided to just take off the fmic and while i was cutting the ic piping we hit a ac line and all of the fuckin frion shit leaked out of the ac system( not like ill need it anyway). While this is happenind its like 2 degrees out and its starting to snow, and now we decided to take off the bumper. The kid before me rigged the bumper up so much that we got pissed and just cut the whole thing off. Finally everything was ready and the car made it up onto the trailor(after about 2 hours). The car came off alot easier then it went on, but now i am stuck with a gsx with a blown motor, no bumber, and a bent up fmic. Ahhhhhhhhhhh life is good!

Re: Funny/Sad story, Read It!

Well I was going to pay $1000 for it, and he offered me a fmic, 3" downpipe, and rebuilt 14b for an extra $200. So i paid $1200. Its ok i have an extra bumper the same color at home. But it still pisses me off.

Re: Funny/Sad story, Read It!

long story short:

my water pump blows at 120+ and in turn my shit overheats and oil and water are shooting out of the side of the block because the head is warped out of control.

to put my car onto a flatbed i have to take the bumper off. even then it was a very close one.

car is fixed and it is time to tune. front bumper happens to be in another city at the time.

first of, there is no mount for the fronts of the splash-gaurds [wheel wells] and the side marker light sockets are hanging in the wind. i notice this strange smell while we are tuning. when i get home it is very bad smell. i notice that my splash-gaurds are now perfectly cut in on the edges by the front and the marker light wires are missing sockets.

the best part is that i have had the replacement wells since it happened but am too lazy to fix it...

just came to mind reading that one... i feel that flatbed issue!
