Sunfire Problem!

Alright, I have a '96 Pontiac Sunfire, my problem is I have craptacular subwoofers right now (300 RMS for the pair) and with that garbage my deck resets and my lights dim a tad. Keep in mind whn trying to help me that it's not my alternator that's the problem, it was just bought refurbished and it's 140-160amps.. I've forgotten over the past couple of months.

Maybe I should upgrade the stock Sunfire wires?? (If that's possible)

Maybe I should get a Farad cap.?.. If so, which one? (My new subs will be about 1000w RMS together)

Maybe I should get a seperate battery for my system?

Maybe I should get the wiring check out (It has been already once, I can do it again though..)

Any help is appreciated... thanks.

The amp is a Pyle 600w Peak (yes, yes, it's garbage. That's where it's going when I get a new system) and it's running pretty high..
