Stupid lighting question
Looked in the manual and didn't see an answer.
How exactly do you get the license plate bulb from its holder? I know how to get it outta its bracket. that is, how to get it detatched from the bumper. But how to get it outta the white thinggy thats holding it to the wiring? Like I said. Stupid question. |

Re: Stupid lighting question
If it's one thing I've learned from Vehicle light bulbs always, ALWAYS, wear gloves. I broke a tailight in my hand, 15 years ago now, and I'm still getting it operated on to remove shards of glass.
However, those little bumper lights should just be pull out style like Silveradoman mentioned. If they don't come out just try rocking it from side to side gently in the socket it should work it's way out. If it is that bad don't forget to clean the socket after you finally get the bulb out.

Re: Stupid lighting question
you can also replace entire socket rather reasonably. Should just be a 2 wire circuit. Definitely be careful of broken bulbs.
