Possible Tranny problem?

I just had a problem with my 99 GT. I was driving and all of a sudden I had no power and it would rev to 5 grand before it would shift. It just does not want to go anymore.

I went to start it this morning and move it out of the garage and it will not move. It acts like there is NO transmission. I have no reverse, drive, it acts like it is nuetral.

Any ideas of the problem.

Sounds like a $2400 repair bill to me. My GTP did exactly the same thing your car did. No forward or reverse. Tranny was totally shot and had to be replaced.
