How much are you looking to spend? and are you talking about performance parts or just making it look cool?

I think he's talking about preformance, seeing as he said "add a few horses"

then again, I've seen those decals that can give you a 5HP gain

Yea that was my bad on that, i obviously misread it... but if your looking for something cheap, i would suggest some sort of chip for the pcm, yopu can find them on ebay 35-40 bucks, but then you get into the question of what it is for the engine overall...cause ive heard they're detrimental to the engine because they usually raise your shift points to a higher RPM. i personally dont have one, but its just a thought

Yeah, just gettin your windows tinted adds like what? 10 - 15 HP right there. lol

But no seriously, you can change the pulley on ur supercharger to a smaller one for like $60 and that can add anywhere from 25- 40 HP depending on the size u get

Still need to buy a puller (125 bucks) and as far as a pulley goes max,for a stock motor is 3.4 = about 25 HP.Unless he wants to chip a piston, which a few new clubgp member's have done.

Re: What are some cheap upgrades?

ubend removal
DHP
3.4 pulley with 1-2 stage cooler plugs and 180 thermostat

that's pretty cheap and a nice gain, anything more will add up real fast.

Re: What are some cheap upgrades?

DON'T BUY THE PCM CHIP! A friend of mine in my car club with a 02 GP did that and it did a $1000.00
worth of damage to his engine. There are several different brands on Ebay to choose from and alot of them claim to be the (REAL DEAL) but don't be fooled. It's not worth the risk!

Re: What are some cheap upgrades?

OK, Jeff from this site is selling the 3.4" pulley
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=363580
That takes care of that.
ZZ has this list to help

http://www.zzperformance.com/article...abc5e5e10c0ae1

Colder plugs, 180 Tstat, because of where you live. And if you have the money, the T-body replacement.

I think I seen that decal too. Im sure it said VTEC. I have testomonials from some VTEC owners.

VTEC: My Civic makes a whopping 130hp and 12 ft/lb of torque, yo.
Also VTEC keeps the hamsters from getting too tired.

Wait, you mean a bottle of Mountain Dew displaces more than my engine?

Re: What are some cheap upgrades?

Civic's, don't you start those by holding the car in one hand and using your finger, spin the motor to start?
