Here is an odd problem.
The daytime running lights on my 96 elantra wagon will not shut off! At first I had thought that I had simply left my lights on after I had taken out the key. Nope they stay on no matter what I do. The only way I can turn them off is by pulling a fuse marked "B+" that is located under the hood. Has anybody else experienced this problem? solutions? Also does anyone know what the B+ fuse does? The car seems start and run fine without it being inplace. But it is a 50 amp fuse, so I think that it must be doing much more than servicing the running lights. |

Re: Problem 96 Elantra daytime running lights
50 amp fuse can handle 600 watts of electrical load. The headlight bulbs are rated about 250 watts each... so it gives you about 500 watts total... I guess you found a workaround while you look for the real cause of the problem.
