About headers

I was lookin into headers for my 91 Integra and I wasnt sure what to get. I was into 4-1 cuz they said designed to make power from 4000RPM to redline. Then do headers matter as to paying 300-400 for Dc sports or like 130 for Ebay stainless 4-1 headers?

With Companies like DC Sports and Greddy your just paying for the name brand. You can probobly find a set of OBX headers off of ebay for 100-150 ...Those work just as good as any.

Re: About headers

The namebrand ones will usually flow a little better, but dynos comparing namebrand to offbrand headers only vary by a couple hp. If you do get one off of ebay make sure it will fit and make sure it has a gasket since your stock one is probably worn out.

Re: About headers

theres lots of people that had problems with the obx headers(the welds), you get what you pay for. a 4-2-1 can be designed to flow just as good as a 4-1, but if your fixed on 4-1 then the dc is fine. kteller dynoed a exhaust system(DC header+Kteller exhaust) on a b20z(non-vtec, AEM intake) and gained 21hp!

Re: About headers

the thing i would be worried about is fitment. like a dc is designed to fit perfect. who knows what kind of modification you would need to do to get the ebay header to fit
