Seat wobbles

I have a 97 1500 Ext Cab. I have noticed that the seat wobbles back and forth a little. I just bought the truck and I know that several of the trucks I drove had this proble. Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks
Greg

Re: Seat wobbles

Check and make sure everything is thight, go trough check the springs and tension. Check the slider plate and see if anything has been worn down. I had a bolt snap on my seat once so the back support part just fell back.

Re: Seat wobbles

There was a recall for seats failing pretty much the way described by Tank Em not sure if it's still in effect though.
