We Need Group Buys!!

OK, I recently joined Soundillusions.net. I am getting some RE comps for my truck on the RE group buy hopefully. to hold my stereo wants off by fabricating some kick panels untill i can afford my XXX 18 (yes i talked my self into it after deciding an avalanche 15 just wasnt enough and a brahma 15 just didnt seem worth it when i can pop a few more dollaz for an XXX 18). But i think we need a group buy here on AF. Soundillusions may be the official RE message board but it is nothing compared to the population here on AF. If widely advertised by Igor (universal stickey in all boards) RE (or any company for that matter) could have massive sales.

The XXX 6.5's arent the componet sets, just the mid bass drivers. ya i was excided also. RE poped my bubble.
But in adition to these great deals its 15% off any other purchase if you buy over $100 of material. So an Re componet set and 15% off an XXX 12 (15's and 18's arent going to be in stock untill the 24th. this deal ends the 18th)

We need something like this for us. preferably some time where i am in a financial position to buy the XXX18 and i RE has some in stock.

Just to clarify: a group buy means one person buys like 20 subs, and then sells them to 19 interested parties he's contacted before the sale?

A group buy is where you get a bunch of mutuial friends (we are all brothers though AF) gets togather to buy a crap load of products so acompany will give a discount price. it is all bought as a single order but shipped out to whoever ordered what. the terms ar set up before any purchasing begins. We like it because we get great products at a discounted price and RE or who ever likes it because they sell alot of products at once. though it may not be at full price, when you sell 25 subs at wtih 10% off regular price you make a whole lot more money then 10subs at regular price.
But we need someone who can make some connections. I persoanaly dont have any weight to throw around but people like Haibane (did i spell it right this time?) and deff. Igor do. bumpin' also knows just about everybody who owns anyhting so he needs to throw some of that around also if im not the only one who wants this to happen. maybe we should wait untill RE has their amps out so we can get the first batch at a discounted price. that would be sweet.

Such a good idea. I wish AF had a group buy.. and one that shipped to Canada. I'd definatly make a purchase! I'd even pay 10-20 or so extra bucks for shipping..

That would be nice, but I just wish the SE 12" was on that group buy list.....After I see the prices on the RE 12", I am temped to just buy two of those.....

yea si is having that group buy, i was thinking of getting the xxx mids, we have it here on AF, just not on this specific audio forum, we dont know eachother well enough to have something like that, and there also aren't enough people that would bust out $ to buy it

No abuse what-so-ever. In all honesty, it hasn't seen more than 1200 watts rms yet! It's been doing nothing for the past two months while my HU was being fixed, and my truck has been in the shop! Only thing is a very slight toothpick like scratch (scratch, not gash at all) on the foam surround. Makes absolutely no effect on performance! I can ask about a recone, but it'd obviously add like $100 onto the price!

They won't do a groupbuy on AF.com. There isn't that many people on here interested in car audio its mostly a forum for performance and whatnot.

I checked further into the group purchase on the amps and when the rep gave me the numbers, the deal didn't seem like such a deal anymore. Anyway I tried, and sorry to get any hopes up.
