Coil Pack Maybe Bad.

You may have a problem with the coil pack, it's located on top of the valve cover.

I have replaced many of these.

Mr.Rob

Good Luck

no i know its not those because i just got new ones. i also took the alternator belt off today could that have something to do with it. its like its trying to start but it just wont fire the ignition. i thought it might be the starter going out but its turning over so i dont THINK thats it. i dont think theres any power getting to the coils, just thought i would get some insite before i started replacing random things. thanks

Is It?

Is the engine cranking, and you have pulled a few wires and the result is there is no spark present at the wire? or is the engine just not cranking?

the car is cranking or turning over as some would call it, i did a little more invertigating this morning and it seems theres no fuel OR spark. i pulled the ecu and checked it it LOOKS to be fine, is there a chance theres something scrwed up in the ecu that i cant see? ive been doing a lot of searching on this topic and theres been a lot of talk about the CAS going bad, is there a way to check for that? also then i tried to start it last nite(just turning over) there was a loud pop from the exhaust lke a back fire? im totaly lost

No Spark/No Fuel?

Your 100% of this, you checked for fuel pressure and it read 0, you pulled all the wires from the coil and check for spark? (none)?.

If so, check the basics first (Fuses!), if all are ok, you may have to find some info on the module (IGN), may be located with ign coil pack.

Keep us up-to-date.
