oil pressure

at warm idle my oil pressure sits at about 17-18 and at 1800 rpm about 38 does this sound right it seems low at idle just looking at it. Just had engine rebuilt with all new bearings. I am runnig normal 5w-30 not synethic would i benifit going to 10w-30 would i see higher numbers and how much of a difference would 10w-30 make.

Re: oil pressure

My speedo also sits at 17-18 in idle but, my friends 93 Camaro (also V6) sits at 25 or so. What would make such big differences?
