If anyone could please help me, I am about to lose my mind!! I bought this car 5 yrs. ago and I have already dumped over $5,000 into it for repairs (and I still have no working ac and I live in FL.). Most recently, the car stalls while I'm driving, usually about 10-11 minutes after I've started it, I feel an abrupt shake or slippage (like if your foot slips off the gas), the RPM Needle drops and doesn't work again, then about a minute later the Battery Light comes on and the steering locks and I coast to a stop. It always starts back up, sometimes it takes like 20 minutes, but it is SO frustrating! A few years ago I replaced the battery and alternator within days of each other, I don't think it's either of those two things as I remember what the car was doing then. Of course everywhere I go they tell me something different, so if anyone has had this happen or something similar, please help me! It's a GT with a 3.8L engine. About 102K miles.
