Question Random thumping of subwoofers!

I've had my system in my car for over a year and it just started making random thumping noises from the subwoofers. I've checked all of my wire connections and nothing LOOKS wrong. I have been told by a car audio enthusiast that there might be a short in the wires or that maybe the amp is causing interference. PLEASE HELP.

also check your rca connections to the deck and the amp. could be rattling loose. ever pull or hook up your RCAs with power on. causes your subs to hit
