89 integra iac problem???
i have a code 14 that will not go away. i have tried 3 different iac valves, chkd the wiring, swapped the ecu, swapped intake and trottle body still no better. it is setting a rev limiter at 3200. also cleaned fuel injectors and replaced plugs. I was wondering if any of the valves on the back fire wall could be cuasing this? thanks

i dont have my manuals with me what is the code for and have you tried pulling the fuse that resets the ecu i know it sounds easy but could fix it

unplug the throttle position sensor see if it dose anything it could be ur throttle position sensor . i had the same problem i was gonna fix the iac control in my civic until i hit a pole going pretty fast so i figured i wouldnt fix it if u no what i mean try messing with it its behind ur intake manifold unplus the iac control if it idles really low and goes up and down fast then it might be ur TP sensor
