wheelbase - How Short?

i have a 89 crown vic 4dr i am planning on shortening to a 2 door with a shorthe wheelbase. how short is unsafe? wheelbase now is 114.8".what problems might i not be thinking about? anyone done something like this before? on the frame i know i will have to shorten the drive shaft, new brake lines, and gas lines. someone TELL ME WHAT TO EXPECT!!!

It is tempting to tell you to take one hundred fourteen and eight-tenths inches out of the wheelbase.

That said, I would think you could take at least two feet out and still be "safe". Isn't that car body-on-frame? I'd get under the car and take measurements, look for a straight stretch of frame rail back there, it might tell you how much you dare chop out before the complexity increases by an order of magnitude.
