Wheels for a 97 hatch
I'm looking for some white wheels for a civic hatchback. no bigger than 16's and I want to keep my car lowered 2" how it is now. Anyone got any suggestions on wheels and tires for max $600?

Re: Wheels for a 97 hatch
it's hard to find a price so low for 16" rims and tires. they'd either have to be used quite a bit, or they'd be really heavy, which will mess up your performance, and put stress on your engine. if that doesn't change your mind about the price, then i'd suggest searching ebay, and see what you can find in any finish, then painting them white. then, don't forget to use a teflon spray on the wheels. your brake dust will get all over em and make it look horrible. the teflon spray will make it a heck of a lot easier to clean it off.

Ok, now I'm in a debate with myself. I'f im looking for performance and looks, what size wheel should I get? I dont want to go higher than 16... And I want my car drag and auto-x capable. Im thinking 15's should do the trick, tell me what you think.

15's should do it and look ok, but i think you should go with 16's with a smaller series tire

how much would tires like that cost me? What sizes would I put on my 2" lowered civic? im only looking to spend under 300 on tires. and with 15's i can spend 230 on very good tires for the price.
