ipod connection
hey im new to this forum. i am getting an '04 supercharged xterra in about a week and am really excited. it has the rockford fosgate system and am wondering if there is a way to hook my ipod up to it without an fm transmitter.

There was a little discussion within the xrerra forum if you search around, but it might be better to research stuff on your stereo specifically.

I successfully modded my 6disc fosgate in my 2004 se xterra for an aux input (and ipod charger/line out.) It involves some surgury and about an hour of disassembling and soldering but it's absolutely awesome. Zero hum silence and a toggle switch between audio from CD player and AUX (or universal ipod adapter) I know this is the mod EVERY xterra SE owner has been looking for so I'll put together instructions to post in every forum I can find about it. Stay tuned, should be within the week.
