2002 Camry stalls Help Please

Anybody know why my Camry stalls with a full fuel tank. Works fine at other levels. I don't top off the tank. Toyota recognizes the problem and has not come up with a solution. Charcoal canister has been replaced.

If the problem only occurs with a full tank of gas, it may be a pressure problem. If Toyota recognizes the problem, it is probably a design flaw that they don't want to publicly admit. I'm not really sure if there is anything you can do besides not fill up the tank. If you need to look at it, you can see down the hole where the gas goes in, if its dark use a lighter to see, lol jkjk. I don't have an extensive knowledge of the mechanics of the fuel system. But judging by the problem and physics, it is probably a pressure problem. Either the pressure is too high or too low with a full tank. This could cause the fuel pump and injectors to temporarily malfuncion, causing a stall.

Thanks for the information and the joke about the lighter. I would think if it was a pressure problem the check engine light would come on but it doesn't. Like you said the problem is probably a design problem Toyota is not owning up to. The car is still under warranty and I have all the time in the world to persue with Toyota. I wanted to find out if someone else is experiencing this problem. Thanks again.

Finally. Toyota has fixed the problem. They replaced the OV/OC valve which required removing the gas tank. This valve shuts off the gas flow when filling up the tank. A flapper was missing on manufacturing. I'm Happy.
