Angry 99 blazer won't start

hi we are having problem with our blazer not starting i put a new plug on a wire to see if there was a spark could not see one,first can you still do this to engine using an extra plug to see if any spark and second does anyone have any ideas.

check all plugs and see if there is spark in any of them.

First you should check your fuses.
If the fuses are good. Test at least two plugs for spark. If no spark. Test for voltage at the coil, if there is no voltage at the coil,
let us know and we will assist you in testing the ignition circuit.
If there is voltage follow the procedure in this image:

The Specifications it refers to at the begining of the chapter are:
Primary resistance..........0.2 to 0.5 ohms
Secondary resistance......5,000 to 25,000 ohms

Also check the main coil wire going to the distributor cap.

hi thx for the info found the problem the rotor fell apart in the distrubutor cap.heres another question for u when its engine is cold we have to turn over for few seconds before it starts any ideas on this problem.

Check you battery voltage when engine is off and when running. Use a voltmeter.

Also, have you ever done a tunup? Did you replace the cap and rotor?

Ever changed the fuel filter?

did the tune up but didn't change fuel filter,where do they hide it

The fuel filter is inside the the frame rail on the driver side just in front of the tank.
