Road noise increasing
I've had my 99 Blazer 4x4 since 2001. The road noise is increasing daily. I read the post about the hood. I am going to work on that this weekend. There seems to be a lot of air coming in through the passanger side window while I am driving on the highway. Does anyone know of anything to do to fix this. Also is there anything I can do for the noise coming from the inside.. Thank you

Re: Road noise increasing
Sounds like your door pins and bushing are worn and allowing the door to sag and the door seal isn't sealing properly.
What do you mean by "road noise" Please be more specific.

Not sure what you mean by road noise. Wind noise is probably an issue with weatherstripping around the doors, or door alignment as mentioned above. Road noise could be unusual tire wear, or bad wheel bearings. Might check for exhaust leaks too which would cause some noise.

Most of the noise I suspect is from wind. There is also a lot of rattling inside the truck. Mostly seems to be coming from the storage compartments in the back on the drivers side. I can't figure out how to tighten it down. I am going to work on the door and see how much that helps.
